We compile two kinds of information: what you send us deliberately, and what is recorded automatically when any browser loads a web page.

Information you provide to us

• Contact Details: Name, email address, and phone number, submitted through our consultation form.
• Business Profiling: Service targets, website link details, campaign budgets, and anything else you choose to include in your message.

Information collected automatically

• Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and screen size.
• Usage Data: Pages viewed, time of visit, referring website or search engine, and how you move between pages.
• Approximate Location: City or region level, derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your submitted data specifically to:

• Build and present customized marketing growth strategies.
• Audit site speeds, search indexation, and competitor campaigns.
• Answer inquiry calls and schedule business consultations.
• Understand which pages and channels bring enquiries, so we can improve this website.
• Protect the site against spam, abuse, and automated attacks.

4. Consultation Form & Email Delivery

When you submit the consultation form, the details are sent to an endpoint on our own domain, which runs as a serverless function on Cloudflare Pages. The submission is validated there and then relayed to our inbox at contact@digitaldugout.online.

• Email delivery: We use Resend, a transactional email provider, to deliver the enquiry to our inbox. Resend processes the name, email address, phone number, and message content you submitted in order to transmit that single message.
• Spam protection: The form includes a hidden field that people never see and automated scripts tend to fill in, together with a limit on how many submissions may be sent from one network in a short period.
• Abuse prevention: The IP address the submission came from is included in the enquiry email so we can identify and block abusive traffic.

We do not use a third-party form service, and your submission is not stored in any advertising or marketing platform.

5. Cookies & Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. This site does not require any cookie in order to function; every cookie currently set here relates to analytics or advertising measurement.

The cookies currently placed when you visit are:

• _ga — set by Google Analytics to distinguish one visitor from another. Typically expires after two years.
• _ga_TDSR8H5LZY — set by Google Analytics to maintain session state for our property. Typically expires after two years.
• _fbp — set by the Meta Pixel to identify browsers for advertising and measurement purposes. Typically expires after three months.

You can remove or block these at any time through your browser settings. Section 11 explains how, and what the trade-offs are.

6. Analytics & Measurement

We measure how this website performs so we can improve it. The following services are active:

• Google Tag Manager (container GTM-K3Q8T3VV) — a tag management system that loads the measurement tools listed below. Tag Manager itself does not collect personal information, but it does load tools that do.
• Google Analytics 4 (property G-TDSR8H5LZY) — records page views, referring source, approximate location, device and browser characteristics, and the path taken through the site. This information is transmitted to and processed by Google.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics — collects aggregate performance and traffic measurements. It does not use cookies to identify individuals.
• Google Search Console — shows us aggregated search queries and indexing status for our domain. It is verified through a DNS record and does not place cookies on this website or collect information about individual visitors.

7. Advertising & Remarketing

Meta Pixel (ID 1348142512840799) is active on this website. It records page views and sends them to Meta Platforms, which may use that activity for advertising measurement and to build remarketing audiences that could later show you our advertisements on Facebook or Instagram.

Our Google Analytics property also communicates with Google advertising domains for measurement purposes.

You can control how these platforms use your activity through Meta Ad Preferences and Google My Ad Center.

8. Hosting, Infrastructure & Server Logs

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served through Cloudflare's global content delivery network. As a consequence, every request to this site passes through Cloudflare's infrastructure.

• Server logs: Cloudflare records standard request information, including IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. These logs support security, abuse prevention, and network reliability.
• Security: All traffic is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Cloudflare provides protection against denial-of-service attacks and other malicious traffic.
• Fonts: Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is disclosed to Google when a page loads.
• Maps: Our contact page embeds a Google Maps view of our office. Loading that map discloses your IP address to Google and may set Google cookies within the map frame.

9. International Transfers

Digital Dugout operates from Coimbatore, India. Several providers described above — Google, Meta Platforms, Cloudflare, and Resend — process data on servers located outside India. Where such transfers occur, they are carried out under the safeguards those providers make available in their own data processing terms.

10. Data Retention & Safeguards

We retain your records securely inside private customer database systems. Access is restricted exclusively to campaign managers preparing audits.

• Consultation enquiries: Kept for as long as needed to respond to you and to manage any resulting business relationship, and thereafter for a reasonable period for our own records. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
• Analytics data: Retained in accordance with the retention period configured in our Google Analytics property, after which Google deletes user-level records automatically.
• Server logs: Retained by Cloudflare for a limited period in line with their own retention practices.

11. Managing Cookies & Opting Out

You can decline or delete cookies without losing access to any part of this website. None of our content depends on them.

• Browser controls: Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies for a specific site through its privacy settings.
• Google Analytics: The Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on prevents Analytics from measuring your visits to any website.
• Do Not Track: Many browsers offer tracking-protection or "Do Not Track" settings that block the measurement tools described above.

12. Your Choices & Data Rights

Our services are directed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the tools we use change. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle personal data will be described here rather than applied silently.
